Grammar:  Students are learning about sentences (groups of words that express complete thoughts).  They are encouraged to answer questions in complete sentences.  They are also learning that sentences begin with an uppercase letter and end with an ending mark.  Students are practicing tracking words in print from left to right and top to bottom of the page.  They should be able to identify  the first and last word on any given page.

Handwriting:  We are practicing writing the uppercase and lowercase letters and our first and last names.
